I've finally dusted off the old camera
and uploaded a few (million) pictures.
(it's been quite a while... )
Anyway, here are some photos of my booth
at the last barn sale. 
I always mean to walk around
and take pictures of all the other goodies,
but once again, I didn't....
 

This pretty lady took care of my booth for me,
and she's as sweet as she looks.

Well, the Strawberry Patch Barn Sale has come and gone, 

and it was even better than I ever expected!

Let's just say,

I didn't have a lot to pack up on Saturday night!

Huge thanks to everyone who helped me this weekend!!!

You know who you are, 

and I couldn't have done it without you.

It was great to meet so many new people and talented artists

as well as catching up with lots of old friends!

I'm glad I snapped a few pictures while I was still setting up

because I didn't even think about the camera again!

 I have been very pleasantly surprised 
that so many of you guys have shown interest 

in my little creations.

For as long as I can remember, 

I've been making things.
It's what I do.

I have more ideas than I have time,

and most of my ideas 

are way above my skill level.

Therefore, I often find myself frustrated

because the finished products rarely

turn out as good as I see them in my mind.

Then, there's the little detail 

of my being a perfectionist. 

Do you see where this is going?

Anyway, I have found your 
compliments and requests

very encouraging.

(I just got this one pieced together during nap time, 

and hopefully I'll get it quilted tomorrow.)

And, no, it did not escape me that my fangs come out 

whenever my husband or the kiddos get too close to the quilts,

but I didn't hesitate 
to throw them over this crusty, old fence for pictures.

What can I say, I'm a difficult person.

And, then, I caught my first wiff of these guys.

Have I mentioned just how much

barn sale invasion

So, the barn sale has officially invaded taken-over my house.

I have
dressers and bookshelves and quilt racks in the kitchen,
tables and tubs stacked in the dining room,
approximately 35 sewing projects I've started in my sewing room.

There are
at least 8 loads of laundry in the living room waiting to be folded,
and the dust bunnies have gotten so big
that I keep yelling for the cat to get out of the house!

I've been running around like mad-crazy
these past few weeks,
and I finally feel like things are coming together!
